BillboardSprites

Sorry for this simple question, but i am a german and i need a answer!

I want use 2D-sprites in a 3D environment. That meens 'BillboardSprites'.
But i only found BillboardSprites in connection with ParticleSystems.

Is there a possibility, to draw a single billdoardsprite, with the possibility
to change e.g. the position? Or must i write a own BillboardSprite-Class?

Hi.

Unfortunately there isn't anything built in.

The closest thing is the particle system draw handling classes, however their implementation of of IParticleSystemDrawer is internal. They could be modified to allow custom drawing, but it wouldn't be trivial.

I found a better way (i hope). In the 'Materials & Lights' example.
There is a class named 'GroundDisk'. A plane with a texture. I mean
that this is a better way toi create a 2D-Sprite in (3D)Space.
