Stopping snow particles after 2000 frames

Hello,

 

I have modified the snow.particles to create a star field (something like the star wars credits scroll with star field).

I really need to stop particles after 15s of snowing (or 5000 played frames).

 

I try to play with if_greater in snow.particles but i can't make it works...

 

Can you help me ?

 

I really move Xen, i'm waiting for the 4.0 !

Hi Eviral

You could maybe alter it to be be triggered from your game loop code (replace the every element with a set of triggers/trigger elements you can control from your C#?)

 

Then you could monitor the time delta yourself and simply stop triggering the effect when you need to.

Hi.

This is exactly what I'd do.
In the snow example, the main <frame> block generates the snow every frame. Just change this to a named toggle, then you can manually turn the snow on and off from within your code :-)
