prebuild error

I just reformatted my pc, windows vista home premium

i installed .net 3.5 and .net 3.5sp1

vc express 2008

direct x june 2010

xnags 3.1

 

When running prebuild without useing command line and no admin privs  i get  :

Please can anyone help with my issue.

I was getting same issue with previous OS install, and now just reformatted today and getting issue still

That is really odd...

I can suggest one change, based on the error message (Although I do not understand it)

MSBuild is run twice in the prebuild script, once right at the start, once at the end.
Can you modify the calls to msbuild to be the following:

The first one to:

%SYSTEMROOT%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\MSBuild.exe /p:Platform="x86" /p:Configuration=Release /p:Optimize=true /p:DebugSymbols=false /verbosity:minimal .\xen\prebuild\sln\build_ss.sln

And the second to:

%SYSTEMROOT%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\MSBuild.exe /p:Platform="x86" /p:Configuration=Debug /t:Rebuild  .\xen\prebuild\sln\prebuild.sln

ok thanks alot that helped but now i get these errors, if theres anyway to get a better formatted log for you, right now i just right click -> select all, then press the enter button and that copies it, and then i paste here.

I found a solution to a part of this, the project's release setting seems to bypass compiling the shadersystem customtool and it also seems it bypasses compiling the model importer.

After manually compiling the shadersystem customtool, I got to a new error "Content\tiny_4anim.x : error : Cannot find content processor "ModelImporter"." 

So now I'm trying to compile the modelimporter.

 

Note after reading the csproj of Xen.ex, it's pretty obvious that that one needs refurbishing, it's broken for the release project (and it seems there are 2 debug projects)

 

 

Also I'm getting these warnings:

Ok just tried to compile it on my laptop at work. Thing to note, with the above mentioned modifications from StatusUnknown, everything compiles fine, just doesn't compile for release.
