Multiple animations with .FBX

Feb 24, 2011 at 2:47 PM

Hi there! Currently resolving certain problems with .X files with our project so I was wondering.

Is there any way to get multiple animations with .FBX files? Seeing that XNA 4.0 took away the possibility of having multiple

animations in the same .FBX file. Seeing how XEN couples animation with a certain mesh I can't really get my head around having

multiple .FBX files and getting animation to run smoothly. If I wanted to blend 2 animations I'd have to blend between 2 meshes and that

would be.... Wierd to say the least.

Thanks for any help regarding this,

Sorry, I really don't have an answer.
I thought XNA 4 was going to fully support it, but if you say it doesn't, then I guess not :-/

I'm not much of a content guy, I can't make my own assets, etc. So I'm afraid there isn't anything I can really do to help.
Sorry,
