Fort Zombie is an XNA game for the PC using Xen to squeeze as much performance as possible.

If you are looking for a thinking-man's RPG survival game, then FZ might just be it.
Your goal: Over a period of two weeks, you must scout out supplies, survivors and food in the town of Piety Indiana, while preparing for the inevitable zombie onslaught.
This isn't a run and gun, shoot anything that moves. Every bullet fired is a bullet less to defend your fort.

For the technically minded,
Because of the way FZ works, there are literally thousands of objects on screen most of the time - draw calls often hit 5,000 per frame. So you still need quite a beefy machine to run the game.
Xen manages to massively reduce the number of API calls made, despite the huge number of objects being drawn, which allowed Kerberos to crank the graphics right up.
